North Korea is planning to launch missiles

I don't understand why North Korea would want to test some missiles, what is their purpose?? Do they really want to be that powerful? Before they do this thing, they should also consider the effect that it will bring to other countries. Many people will get affected, they should not be selfish.. This issue is very alarming.. Very, very alarming I could say.
